Geraint Wyn Parry – Chief Executive

Geraint joined the Association at the end of April 2007 from Cyfle, where he was Business Manager. Before that he worked in different administrative and marketing posts with Gwynedd County Council/Cyngor Gwynedd, the National Library of Wales, Cwmni’r Frân Wen, and Cwmni Theatr Cymru.

He graduated in Welsh from SDUC Lampeter. Before that he was a pupil at Llandovery College, Barmouth Primary School, and Ysgol Gymraeg Llundain - the London Welsh School.

He lives in Cricieth.

Nia Wyn Edwards - Systems Manager

On graduating from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth with a degree in Drama, Nia worked for 12 years as a freelance actress in film, television and theatre, mainly in theatre-in-education. During this period she also worked as a department store assistant as well as a Tourist Information receptionist at various centres in the Caernarfon and Anglesey area. 

In 1999 she studied for her Higher Bilingual Diploma in Administrative Procedures at Coleg Menai before being appointed full time Administrative Officer for the Association in July 2000.  She is now the Association's Systems Manager.

Originally from Caernarfon, she now lives in Llangefni.

Judith Kaufmann – Professional Development Manager

Judith pursued a degree course in translation at Leipzig University and as part of her Diploma submitted a thesis on translation's role in the promotion of bilingualism in Wales.  She then worked on serveral projects for the Association between 2002 and 2006 before working on her PhD at Bangor University which looked at the influence of interpreting (simultaneous translation) in meetings on the use of Welsh. 

She is now the Association's Professional Development Manager.

A member of the folk singing party, Y Boncathod, she lives in Rachub.
