How to join

The Welsh Language Board recomends using a translator who is a member of a professional translation organisation and refers anyone looking for a Welsh translator to this Association's list of members.

There are currently 3 levels of membership for translators:

• Full Membership for text translators who have been working as full-time translators for at least 3 years
• Basic Membership for those starting out as text translators  
• Interpreting Membership for interpreters who have been successful in CCC's interpreting tests.

The Association advises the Welsh Language Board on translation issues
